देहरादून: उत्तराखंड में पुलिसकर्मियों के ग्रेड-पे के मामले को लेकर इन दिनों घमासान मचा हुआ है। पुलिसकर्मियों को 4600 ग्रेड-पे की मांग को लेकर बीते कल यानी रविवार को गढ़वाल से लेकर कुमाऊं में धरने-प्रदर्शन का दौर रहा। बारिश होने के बावजूद भी प्रदर्शनकारी डटे रहे। वहीं कुछ को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार भी किया। धरना-प्रदर्शन से पहले डीजीपी ने भी पुलिस कर्मियों के परिजनों से अपील की थी, लेकिन इसका भी परिजनों पर असर नहीं दिखा। इस प्रदर्शन को समर्थन में तमाम राजनीतिक दलों, संगठनों का भी समर्थन मिला।
ऐसे में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने प्रदेश के तमाम पुलिसकर्मियों से अपील करते हुए साफ तौर पर कहा कि, उनकी सरकार पुलिसकर्मियों के साथ है। धामी ने कहा कि, पुलिसकर्मि हमारे भाई हैं, उनको हमारी कोशिशों को देखना चाहिए।
मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने कहा कि, पहली ही कैबिनेट के दौरान हमने मंत्रिमंडल की उपसमिति बनाने का फैसला लिया था। मंत्रिमंडलीय उप समिति की बैठकें हो चुकी हैं और वह जल्द ही अपनी रिपोर्ट मुख्यमंत्री को सौंप देगी, जिसके बाद जल्द से जल्द पुलिसकर्मियों के हित में रास्ता ढूंढ़ लिया जाएगा। तब तक पुलिसकर्मियों को संयम बरतना चाहिए।
